We don’t need to explain to you how incredibly cool astronauts are because you probably spent as much of your childhood as we did being part of the Apollo program. When a group of like-minded individuals couldn’t find a book that did justice to the original images from the Apollo missions, they made it themselves. The beautifully printed, large format photo book includes 225 stunning photographs taken by the Apollo Astronauts over the course of the 11 missions that NASA took to the moon. In addition to the gorgeous photos, there’s also a short section that showcases the equipment–like the Hasselblad 500 EL camera–training and historical records that made all the photographs possible. The Apollo Program Photobook also includes a foreword by Apollo 7 astronaut Walt Cunningham sharing his memories and stories about the program. As if all that wasn’t enough, the roughly 12″ x 12″ and 7lb book comes wrapped in a “NASA Blue” linen cloth with a belly band that showcases the moon landscape. This is the definitive book about the Apollo program.
