Aliner just made a compact, pop-up, A-frame camper that sleeps four and provides some serious creature comforts like a stove, refrigerator, sink, cassette toilet, and even a deployable shower that stores under the floor. It even has two queen beds. One folds out from the sofa, the other from the dinette bench. That one will also turn into a set of bunks. The pop-up panels on each side of the roof provide additional space, and the whole thing will fit in your garage. It also comes with off-road tires, waterproof protection above and below, as well as solar panels for power.
