2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz

The much-anticipated return of the Volkswagen Microbus takes the form of the all-electric ID. Buzz. It design is a great blend of modern and vintage cues, but the powertrain is all 21st century. The base model is rear-wheel drive with 282 horsepower from the 91 kWh battery, and a two-motor all-wheel drive version offers up a potent 330 horses. The American version gets an extended wheelbase and three rows of seating. The ID. Buzz also gets a cockpit dashboard, customizable ambient lighting, simulated wood dashboard, wireless charging, myriad storage options, and multiple USB-C ports. The ID. Buzz’s all-electric range will be about 260 miles. The starting price will hover around $40,000 when it debuts in showrooms sometime in mid-2024.
