Unless you’re gaming on a PC, it never occurred to us to attach a keyboard to your console. None the less, Sam Byford over at The Verge saw some use for one and had a few suggestions on how to make it better. Whether Japanese company Cyber Gadget was actually listening to him is up for debate, but they recently announced a Switch keyboard that was pretty much exactly the design Byford mocked up for his article. Whatever the origin, the Joy-Con actually mounts onto the sides of the keyboard, just like every other peripheral that’s come out for the Switch. It’s supposed to be aimed at games with chat features, allowing for players to communicate via the windows PC gamers are so accustomed to. It’s compact, light, well designed, and worth Switch players investment.
