We’re always on the lookout for our next vacation destination and we may have just found it. The Backwater House is a sort of modern take on the traditional log cabin. Its interior has a clean, updated look that both contradicts and compliments its secluded lagoon surroundings. The house is the perfect destination for a relaxing, completely stress free vacation, as there’s absolutely nothing about it that suggests or demands urgency. It’s wide open where it needs to be and cozy in other places, and it’s easy to imagine a few listless nights spent on the dock, easily sipping a pint. It can sleep 8 comfortably, so we recommend bringing some friends. If you’re worried about that many people offsetting the casual atmosphere, don’t be. Something about that lagoon tells us no one’s going to be particularly active around there.
