Bike builder Walt Siegl is well-known in moto circles thanks to his artful combination of excellent design and real-world performance. This latest Siegl creation is an all-electric motorcycle born out of a collaboration with Mike Mayberry of Ronin Motorworks, and it’s known as the PACT. The modern minimalist bike uses forged carbon fiber and weighs in at a mere 251 pounds, and the motor weighs 15 pounds but churns out 50 horsepower from the 5.8kWh battery. Charging takes a quick three hours from a conventional electrical outlet. The bike is meant to capitalize on the prevalence and promise of EV bikes, and though some motorcyclists may be gas purists, Siegl believes electric power distills the motorcycling experience to just you, the machine, and the sound of the wind, further opening up the freedom of the motorcycling experience.
