Oh those Parisians, always open to new ideas. Well, at least in the area of convenient travel up and down the scenic Seine River, they might just flock to an electric hydrofoil water taxi that looks like the future. The ovular taxi with mini gullwing doors and brake lights will be purely electric and should drastically cut the cost to run them over their fuel counterparts. It can hold four passengers, and the plan is to be able to call on them via smartphone app. Most importantly, howevever, are the qualities of near-silent operation, no emissions, and virtually no disturbing waves. SeaBubbles plans to launch next year in Paris and other locations in France.
