Scout Olympic Camper

Scout Olympic Camper

Who says you need to buy a full RV to enjoy the great outdoors? Scout of Yakima, WA just created their Olympic camper that fits in the bed of a light-duty pickup truck, and it’s not some corrugated metal jobbie with fake wood trim on it, either. This one is built to last with an aluminum exoskeleton frame and composite construction. There’s also room for four to sleep and eat with the kind of creature comforts typically found on bigger, pricier campers. Standard equipment includes a pop-up sleeping tent, Pendleton upholstery fabrics, solar panels, LED lighting, dual 110V outlets, a portable Goal Zero Yeti power station, a stainless steel sink, and a lockable gear locker. You can add features such as a fridge/freezer unit, propane fireplace, portable toilet, portable cooktop, and even an exterior awning. For the price of a sub-compact car, you can camp out to your heart’s desire without looking like a total hippie.
