Germany’s Loose Screw moto shop might seem rustic, but they’re churning out some seriously cool custom bikes.
The vintage German base bike is the Hercules GS250, an eminently tough and practical dirt bike that receives modern treatment like an overhauled two-stroke engine clad in black, new forks and shocks, as well as a white vinyl seat, white fenders, a new white/turquoise/red colorway on the tank and side covers, and a white powder-coated frame. The nimble bike now looks like it time-traveled back to an ’80s music video, and is resplendently bold and beautiful as a result.
