Anybody who thought they’d never see Genesis create one of the world’s most beautiful cars hasn’t looked at the South Korean brand recently. It just completed its X concept trilogy in the grandest of ways with the X Convertible concept in Los Angeles. The X Convertible concept takes the svelte and sexy looks of the Genesis X Speedium Coupe and adds sophistication and boulevardier style with the loss of the roof. The lighted grille frame, headlights, front fender lights, and taillights work literally in parallel with each other, and the wraparound cabin is a sight to behold with gridded leather and brushed metal surfaces throughout. The powertrain is strictly electric, but there are no details provided. Whether or not it will ever get built remains to be seen, but this would be the ideal flagship for the premium brand that’s making serious waves in the industry.
