Brabus mods high-end German vehicles that need more power like Trump needs more orange. That said, we love ourselves an overpowered Merc Gelandewagen SUV, and the new 800 XLP Adventure is like a thermonuclear warhead on wheels. The base vehicle is an already insane 577-horsepower Mercedes-AMG G63, but Brabus saw fit to tweak the twin-turbo V8 engine to the tune of 789 ponies, good for a 0-60 sprint in 4.8 seconds. They also turned it into a pickup truck, adding two-and-a-half feet of added length, and the bed gets teak paneling for effect. The body sports gobs of real carbon fiber, a roll cage, safari-style roof rack, and a front-mounted winch. Underneath it all is more off-road prowess thanks to an upgraded suspension and 19.2 inches of clearance for getting over rocks, crests, and whatever other terrain gets in your way. The pièce de résistance is actually separate from the vehicle, a Wingcopter drone with a 150-mph top speed, a 75-mile range, and the ability to carry 13 pounds of whatever you need to fetch.
