The Lamborghini Countach stands as one of the most iconic supercars of all-time. The Marcello Gandini/Bertone designed V12 monster is a legend, especially from a design perspective. The Countach has the kind of aesthetics that still make everyone in its immediate vicinity crane their necks to get another look. This particular one, however, is a unicorn of a Countach. Known as the QV “Downdraft”, The white over bright red model is so named due to its six Weber downdraft carburetors, giving the Countach a whopping 455 horses and a bigger displacement from 5.0-liters to 5.2, way more than the standard LP400’s 370 horses and the most the model has ever seen. It’s received a $300,000 restoration that’s period correct, and it even comes with factory books and the proprietary tools. The QV Downdraft was purchased by Al Copeland, the owner of Popeye’s Chicken, of all things. It was once housed in his car museum, and it will go up for auction in Scottsdale, AZ from January 15-19 of 2020 where it will no doubt command top dollar.
