As much as we love red Ferrari supercars, they might be a bit too flashy for everyday driving. But Ferrari did more than just make cars that were slathered in poster form on high-school boys’ walls. Back in the day, there was a Pininfarina-designed V12 2+2 that might just be the ultimate gentleman’s vintage Cavallino Rampante. The 250 GTE 2+2 grand touring car was created to help fund daddy Enzo’s racing passions, and it ended up being the best-selling Ferrari of its time. This particular 1962 model is now up for auction, and it’s a worthy one with Nero black over Beige leather, space for four, and the original engine and manual gearbox with floor-mounted three-pedal setup. The last owner was none other than Jamiroquai front man and Ferrari collector, Jay Kay. If you can pony up the near half-million dollar expected price, you won’t just get a legendary GT car with Ferrari Classiche certification but also a car you can pretty much guess no one else in your ‘hood will have in his garage.
