This innovative starburst-shaped home is made from shipping containers that point out in all directions for maximum gazing from within and without. Although it hasn’t been built yet, the house is up for sale for a cool $3.5 million. The idea was conjured up by London-based Whitaker Studio and is meant for construction near Joshua Tree National Park in California. The idea behind it is so that every container points toward a key aspect of the land (rocks, trees, sky) while providing ideal privacy. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen, living area, etc. There’s no word on how utilities will get there, but we figure for this price, it’s all been worked out beforehand.
