No one will ever forget John Travolta’s legendary dancing in Saturday Night Fever, but there was another star in most of the shots that came close to stealing the spotlight—the floor. Now’s your chance to own a piece of movie history because the Saturday Night Fever dance floor is for sale. The 24′ wide x 16′ deep x 8″ high floor complete with twelve 4′ x 8′ acrylic panels and wooden frame matrix that was originally built for the film and installed in the 2001 Odyssey club is up for auction. The expected price? Between $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. After being pulled from the 2001 Odyssey club when it closed, the red, yellow and blue floor that was so mesmerizing in the film was put back together for a tribute episode of Glee, but now it’s sitting disassembled in Brooklyn on three separate set carts just waiting for someone to buy it for their basement or game room.
