It’s about that time for annual “cabin fever” to set in with temps consistently staying below freezing in my lovely Midwestern city.
This year, to help get me through it, I turned to some health and wellness enhancements to improve my daily life. The first thing to tackle was the stale air I breathe. Turns out the air quality in my 120-year-old home sealed up all winter with radiator heat and no air flow isn’t ideal. My quest was to find an air purifier for my bedroom that cleaned out dust and allergens, blended into decor nicely, was reasonably quiet while running, and had a child lock.
I settled on the Provitec ClearBreathe Smart Air Purifier and after a few days of sleeping with it running all night I can definitely feel the difference. I’m breathing well, feeling well rested, and I’m not stuffed up at all. I guess I didn’t know what I was missing.
The specs say it can can pull up to 5 air changes in my bedroom per hour or about 1 air change per hour in a 1000-square-foot space. I kept it set on the automated function that continually checks air quality and adjusts the fan accordingly.
It’s easy to use, works well, looks good, and it’s an affordable price. As far as cost effective wellness upgrades, this is the best one in my book.
