Leave it to Brookstone, the company that continually develops new products that no one needs but everyone wants, to come up with the idea to mount a camera to the top of a frisbee. That’s right, Brookstone’s new frisbee has a built-in camera positioned right on the top. Dubbed the VFO (as in, “Video Flying Object”), this 160g flying disc has a 720p HD video camera that records all your excellent catches, tricks and everyone’s failed attempts at 30fps on the internal 8GB microSD card. The Nerf dart style fin on the back of the camera improves the aerodynamics as the camera spins on top of the disc to record a perspective that’s unlike anything else we’ve seen from an action camera before. When you want to get your highlights and your friends’ failures off the camera to share on social media, all you have to do is pop out the microSD card or connect a micro USB cable.
