There’s traveling, and then there’s traveling in style. California-based Living Vehicle does the latter in spades with its new Core Trailer, whose name give the connotation that it qualifies as rudimentary digs. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the Core looks like a modern hotel suite made mobile thanks to its 29-foot interior with full chef’s kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, office, washer/dryer, and fold-down deck. And lest you worry about being off-grid, the Core Trailer gets an automotive-grade energy system: 9,000 watt-hours of energy storage and 1,320 watts of solar power. What’s more, the aluminum shell is tough and corrosion-resistant, and you can pack it with even more features should you choose to upgrade. Okay, so it costs as much as a nice condo, but you’ll never, ever be tied down (to a building, that is).
