Mr Black x WhistlePig Barrel-Aged Coffee Liqueur

Mr Black x WhistlePig Barrel-Aged Coffee Liqueur

Need a caffeine boost in your nightcap? When it comes to coffee liqueurs, the top-tier choice is always Mr Black. Their Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur is a perfect addition to your favorite cocktail. And if that isn’t enough to win you over, Australia-based Mr Black just announced a limited release collaboration with famed Vermont whiskey distillery WhistlePig. Barrel-Aged Coffee Liqueur features Mr Black’s OG coffee liqueur aged for 9 months in WhistlePig barrels that previously held Piggyback 100% Rye. The result is a liqueur with the rich, dark, nutty notes of a cold brew paired with the sweet, smoky, spicy qualities of a delicious rye whiskey. “This is one of the biggest spirits we’ve ever made,” says Tom Baker, founder of Mr Black in a press release. “It’s Mr Black turned up to 12 in terms of flavour and texture – it’s a spirit for a spirit’s drinker, intense and delicious.”

With such stunning complexity on display, we’d recommend simply enjoying it on the rocks. Or, combine with your favorite rye whiskey and bitters for a coffee-inspired Old Fashioned. Only 2,400 bottles of the Mr Black x WhistlePig collaboration were made so snag yours before they’re gone.
