This isn’t an ale for the weak. With an 8.5 ABV and enough strength to make you question your choices, Stone Brewing’s Arrogant Consortia craft brand and Jägermeister’s Arrogant Bastard Ale is actually more potent than the “regular” version. The dark American ale is combined with Jägermeister’s classic recipe that includes 56 herbs, roots, fruits, and spices that give the brew a new complexity that helps manage the strength. Only 20,000 bottles were made, and they cost anywhere from $18 to $22 for a fifth. The limited quantity, the price, and the alcohol percentage should have you drinking judiciously but enjoyably.
