Four Roses Small Batch Select Bourbon

Four Roses Distillery issues some of the smoothest Bourbon we’ve ever tasted, and now they’ve made their “fourth rose” available in 13 new markets as part of its permanent product line. Small Batch Select comes from the skills of Master Distiller Brent Elliott, who just so happened to win the Master Distiller/Blender of the Year at the 2020 Icons of Whisky America… no small feat for someone who just became a Master Distiller in 2015. Small Batch Select’s award was commensurate with its master’s Yoda-esque Bourbon abilities and nabbed the #1 Bourbon rating in Whisky Advocate’s Top Whiskies of 2019. This Four Roses iteration happens to be a combination of six of the brand’s Bourbon recipes, each one aged a minimum of six years. The 104 proof delivers strength, but the flavor imparts a marvelous melding of candied fruit, warmth, spice, and excellent mouth-feel for a truly enjoyable spirit, neat or on the rocks. It’s just the right small batch Bourbon to lead you out of winter and into spring, and it will be available in the next two months in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
