Buffalo Trace and Chris Stapleton Team up For Traveller Whiskey Collaboration

Buffalo Trace, renowned for its premium offerings like Pappy Van Winkle and Antique Collection, is introducing a new player to its impressive lineup—Traveller Whiskey. Backed by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton, this collaboration with Buffalo Trace master distiller Harlen Wheatley brings forth a blended whiskey sourced from various acclaimed distilleries within the Sazerac company. Unlike the elusive Pappy or Antique Collection, Traveller is positioned as an accessible daily sipper, available to all enthusiasts without the constraints of allocation.

Master Distiller Wheatley meticulously tested over 50 recipes before landing on Blend No. 40, a complex yet approachable profile that captures the essence of Buffalo Trace Bourbon. With notes of brown sugar, caramel, maple, vanilla, oak, and baked apple, Traveller Whiskey offers an appealing experience for both novice and expert whiskey drinkers. Bottled at 90 proof, it distinguishes itself from the standard 80 proof, promising an elevated flavor journey. Set to hit the shelves at an SRP of $40, Traveller’s widespread availability makes it an intriguing addition to the Buffalo Trace legacy, leaving whiskey enthusiasts eagerly anticipating its journey in the market.
