Dust & Grooves Coffee Table Book Of Vinyl Porn

Dust & Grooves is a project that documents vinyl collectors in their record rooms through photography and interviews. Looking at the final product on the website is great and all, but no where near as cool as having what can only be described as a book of vinyl porn sitting on your coffee table. From Australia to Cuba and Argentina to Ghana, photographer Eilon Paz documented vinyl collections from DJs, producers, collectors and dealers. From the Archive of Contemporary Music in New York to Afrika Bambaataa’s 43k+ collection for Cornell’s Hip Hop Collection, Paz relives some of the coolest “Adventures in Record Collecting” from over 130 people. The first part of the book pairs full-page photos with captions and quotes and the second consists of 12 full-length interviews. In total, it’s a 416 page compendium that will look as good on your coffee table as your vinyl does on the shelf.
