Limiting your exposure to germs is incredibly important right now because of the pandemic. To that end, StatGear has developed the Hygiene Hand, an EDC tool designed by a NYC paramedic to help reduce the number of things you have to touch everyday. The simple and effective design uses a finger hole, hook and button pusher tip so you can open doors, push ATM, elevator and credit card buttons without having to physically touch anything with your hands. Since it’s made out of solid brass which is naturally antimicrobrial, the time the virus can live on it is limited to hours instead of days. Delivery of the StatGear Hygiene Hand is expected in May of this year.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
