The Macallan is one of the most revered names in the world of whisky. And for good reason. The single malt releases from the Scotch distillery come with serious price tags and are considered some of the finest whiskies in the world. The World Whiskey Society, a non-distiller producer, has announced that its offering two extremely limited batches from the Macallan. Packaged in eye-catching Gothic decanters are a duo of 31-Year and 32-Year Scotch whiskies from the Macallan. The 31-Year, which is limited to 71 bottles, was aged in Oloroso sherry casks while the 32-Year was aged in a refill hogshead cask and only 120 bottles will be available. Announced as part of the Reserve Collection, these two bottlings will become some of the oldest releases from the World Whiskey Society and are sure to turn heads among the whisky cognoscenti. Pricing hasn’t been announced but the final cost is expected to be in the five-figure range. A small price to pay for some seriously legendary liquid.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
