Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey in a Can

Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey in a Can

Skrewball has made a name for itself by producing its signature Peanut Butter Whiskey, a divisive peanut butter-flavored whiskey with a sizeable cult following. The brand has gone a step further with the recently announced canned version of its Peanut Butter Whiskey. While canned cocktails have been on the rise for several years, with the product category showing a 123% growth in 2021 alone, Skrewball is packaging Peanut Butter Whiskey straight up with no additional mixers or flavorings. The 100ml Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey cans will hold approximately two servings of the spirit neat, packaged at 35% ABV, so customers can either sip from the can, pour it into a glass, or choose their own mixers.

It’s a unique move but gives curious consumers the chance to try a smaller sample of the flavored spirit without investing in a full bottle. Moreover, it makes the Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey extremely portable. “Industry trends continue to indicate that consumers are gravitating towards portable canned options,” shared Skrewball Whiskey president Carl Carlson in a press release, “and we want to offer Skrewball Whiskey’s premium taste and versatility to our community in an offering that meets their needs and consumption occasions.”

Pricing information has not yet been released but the Skrewball Whiskey cans will first release in select markets in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. A nationwide rollout is expected to follow later this summer.
