When you don’t know what else to order, you order a Jack & Coke. It might not be the best cocktail in the world but it’s an extremely serviceable drink in a pinch. And the simple 2-ingredient mixed beverage just got even easier as Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola have teamed up to release an RTD canned Jack & Coke cocktail. To enjoy, simply crack open a can and pour over ice.
Initial imagery shows a sleek black can with both the Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola labels in both standard and zero-sugar editions. The initial press release revealed that 5% ABV will be the benchmark but it could vary in different markets.
“This relationship brings together two classic American icons to deliver consumers a taste experience they love in a way that is consistent, convenient, and portable,” Lawson Whiting, CEO and President of Brown-Forman Corporation, which owns the Jack Daniels label, shared in the press release.
The RTD canned Jack & Coke is set to launch in Mexico in late 2022 with a global rollout to follow.
