Yes, Timberland’s naming division got a little carried away with this one. We’re not even sure what “hookset” is (guesses tossed around the office included a special ping pong serve, a type of fishing lure, and literally a set of hook devices). Luckily they’re design division didn’t. These are the ultimate utilitarian, everyday shoe: special shock absorbing technology guarantees comfort even after a day on your feet, grippy rubber soles keep a sure footing, and a oiled nubuck leather upper with Moisture-wicking textile lining keeps the contents warm and dry. For those of us in the working world who spend most of our waking hours on our feet, these are a blessing. A stylish blessing too.
