Who cares about what the hottest Hollywood leading actor is wearing these days. Long deceased actor and style icon Cary Grant’s sense of what’s will forever remain classic is what you should try to emulate. The man remains at the top of best-dressed lists well after his death in 1986. Now, the glasses he wore in the renowned 1959 Hitchcock thriller North By Northwest have been recreated by Oliver Peoples in the world’s first collaboration with Cary Grant’s estate. Grant’s character, Roger Thornhill, dons the round-framed sunglasses that look as good today as they did on his mug more than a half-century ago. The handcrafted, multi-layered acetate frames come inlaid with functional pins that reinforce the connection between the frames and hinges for long-lasting use. The new Cary Grant frames are available for sunglasses and eyeglasses and come in five different colors.
