Now, the glasses he wore in the renowned 1959 Hitchcock thriller North By Northwest have been recreated by Oliver Peoples in the world’s first collaboration with Cary Grant’s estate. Grant’s character, Roger Thornhill, dons the round-framed sunglasses that look as good today as they did on his mug more than a half-century ago. The handcrafted, multi-layered acetate frames come inlaid with functional pins that reinforce the connection between the frames and hinges for long-lasting use. The new Cary Grant frames are available for sunglasses and eyeglasses and come in five different colors.
