These shoes were meant for running… seriously fast. The ZoomX Streakfly fills a niche in the running shoe segment by focusing on 5k and 10k distances. It uses carbon fiber in the midfoot plate and copious amounts of lightweight ZoomX foam for spring. It also has a lower stack height for speed and road feel. The minimalist mesh upper and more structured forefoot provide additional control, while the open midfoot reduces weight and increases breathability for high-speed, short-distance runs. Did we mention each shoe weighs only 6.5 ounces? Slowpokes need not apply. The ZoomX Strekfly goes on sale in February for $160.
