If you’ve ever spent enough time in Home Depot, or built anything out of industrial gas or copper pipe, you’ve ended up wearing a fitting or four as a piece of jewelry. Drilling Lab takes that idea to the next level with their Clamp Series of rings. Using what basically amounts to two different kinds of pipe clamps as inspiration, Drilling Lab created two separate Clamp Series rings that bring some much needed form to the already functional idea. Type A is two separate pieces (available in matte black, gold and silver, so you can mix and match) joined with an enclosed hex screw. Type B is a single piece ring available in the same materials with a visible hex screw–that also happens to be adjustable with your fingers. Either one is a step in the right direction for manly rings, but they’re not available for purchase in the US… yet.
