Sustainable footwear brand Rothy’s has already turned over 179 million plastic bottles into stylish shoes. And to keep the green vibes going, Rothy’s has launched an impressive Earth Day Campaign inviting customers to swap a plastic bottle for a free pair of shoes.
Rothy’s has long advocated for the end of single-use plastics, not only transforming already existing plastic bottles into loafers, sneakers, and slides but pushing legislators to support the Break Free from Plastic Pollution Act. To raise the stakes a little more, Rothy’s has launched an Earth Day Bottle Swap. The first 100 customers to bring a plastic bottle to Rothy’s Nolita, Boston (Newbury) and Pasadena stores on Monday, 4/22 can receive a free pair of any shoe styles available in that store. Since the swap was limited to only the first 100 participants, Rothy’s has also extended the deal with a 20% discount to anyone else who brings a plastic bottle. Can’t make it to the store?
