Japanese Renaissance man Nigo has an unrivaled CV when it comes to his influential career as a fashion designer. The founder of Bathing Ape and current creative director of Kenzo, Nigo brought together a mixture of streetwear and Japanese design into his various creative roles.
Levi’s recently teamed up with Nigo to design a two-piece capsule collection and the results show that everything Nigo touches turns to gold. Featuring either a Hickory Stripe jean or Trucker Jacket, made in selvedge denim, each piece is totally unique but wholly wearable with a definite eye on vintage workwear aesthetics. While currently sold out, make sure to keep hitting “refresh” for a restock – this is sure to be a collection to remember.
