Cariuma makes some of the best sneakers around, and they just happen to be seriously eco-friendly. Their latest offerings come by way of a collaboration with vintage video game company, Atari, who is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. The Atari x Cariuma Collection uses the Catiba Pro and OCA Lows shoes as the base and showcases Atari logos and fonts. The Cariuma “Nature Leaf” logo even gets pixilated on the Catiba Pro models, while the OCA Lows get “Game On” wording. The sneakers utilize eco-friendly materials including GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas, natural rubber, and recycled plastics. Atari and Cariuma will plant two trees in the Amazon rainforest for every pair purchased.
