Wasting precious words describing how cool vintage cameras are is pointless. You already know they’re great. You might even have one or two sitting around the house on shelves, but they’re probably nothing more than paperweights at this point in time because film (and processing) are so hard to find these days. Tinker & Tailor decided to take some old Zenit and Praktica cameras that were probably doing the same thing and repurpose them… into desk lamps. Each of the 35mm DSLR lamps is unique and outfitted with a dimmable 50W Halogen bulb for all your lightning needs. There is even a vintage tripod available so you can use your camera lamp to light a subject you’re taking pictures of with a different camera for a truly meta product. Unfortunately, these lamps are currently only available in the UK so you’re going to have to find a friend there or get creative.
