By now you’re probably aware that The Walking Dead TV series started off as a comic book. Actually, there’s a good chance that by now, you’ve already read the comics and you’re itching for more zombie slaying. Well, then there’s good news for you. No, there hasn’t been a zombie outbreak (yet)—there’s going to be a Walking Dead video game. It’s based on the comics and will include (but not revolve around) a few characters from the show and comics like Herschel and Glenn. It’s too soon to tell if the game is going to be any fun, but after years of campy zombie games like Dead Rising and Dead Island we’re kind of looking forward to a serious zombie game with human elements—or as creator Robert Kirkman puts it, a game with all that “hugging and crying and shit.”
