We’ve driven Rolls-Royce’s two-door Wraith, and we can attest that it is truly fast, heavy, opulent, and about as subtle as a carbon fiber M1 Abrams Tank. As Rolls-Royce embarks on its plans to go all-electric, it’s issuing final editions of its gas-powered V12 cars beginning with the Wraith, which says goodbye with the Black Arrow. The exotic exterior gets its own gradient surface with a glass-infused “Crystal” paint over another layer of Black Diamond paint that provides a unique motion blur effect. There’s even a special crusted surface texture to mimic that of the Bonneville Salt Flats. The treatment itself takes more than twelve hours of polishing. Open the suicide doors, and you’ll find that the special interior is festooned with yellow accents, open-pore Black Wood, illuminated polished aluminum, and opulent “Club Leather” seats and trim. There’s even the illuminated Bonneville Salt Flats constellation night sky woven into the headliner. The car is collector’s dream because of its limited production and the end of the V12 gas era for the brand.
