A Porsche trailer? Ludicrous. Or is it? Airstream and Studio F.A. Porsche just partnered to create a trailer that’s “garageable” while still providing excellent creature comforts and stellar aesthetics. The key to the stowability is its automatic suspension that lowers the body to manage shorter clearances. Even the shape of the rear is designed to reduce drag, and carbon fiber helps curb the weight. Big windows and pop-top skylights open up the interior space and ambiance, and the fold-down tailgate provides great open-air access and two folding seats. Other features include sleeping quarters for two, dining accommodations, flat-screen TV, and a retractable awning. The trailer was designed to provide RV recreation that can still manage urban dwelling storage limitations. It’s just a concept right now, but it could very well become a reality.
