Race car builder Prodrive decided to defy convention for its first racing simulator. They brought in none other than famous car designer Ian Callum (Jaguar, Aston Martin, TWR, and Ford) to pen this beauty of a simulator. The exterior shell is made from 16 layers of steam-bent birch that’s covered in piano black. The carbon fiber monocoque cockpit hids all the mechanical under a svelte setup that also provides a handsome and well-bolstered Cobra Nogaro racing seat, an AOC 49″ Dual-QHD 5K monitor, a Simcube Pro steering motor, a Precision SIM LM Pro steering wheel, custom mechanical pedal box with electric adjustment, a customized PC with an Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card, and a pair Bowers & Wilkins headphones. The asking price is steep but far less than an actual race car. You can use the savings to buy a supply of adult diapers so you don’t have to waste time getting up to use the bathroom.
