Mexican-style lagers have the same problem as pilsners. Most people really only think of Corona or Miller and miss out on a ton of great beers. Beers like Taco Tuesday from Monday Night Brewing. It’s a beer put together specifically to pair with tacos or burritos or enchiladas or any of that fine Mexican cuisine. The ABV is super approachable at a very reasonable 4.5% with very low bitterness, making it a great beer for summer sessions, especially if that session is at a park with a Mexican food truck at the entrance. It’s currently only available in Monday Night Brewing taprooms, though there are twelve and sixteen ounce can options if you find yourself in Atlanta, Birmingham, or Nashville and you’re itching for some takeout.
