Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) may be all grown up now, and it may have all just been a movie. But at least the house from Home Alone is real. Now, you can stay in it, courtesy of Airbnb. The Winnetka, Illinois home seems to have been permanently decorated for the holidays with enough red and green to last a lifetime, and that should bode well for one-night-stay guests who want to drink in all that nostalgia. To keep things truly in the Home Alone spirit, there are booby traps that guests can set up, Kevin’s green robe (BYO Brut aftershave), junk food from the ’90s, and even big brother Buzz’s pet tarantula, Axl. The house is rentable through the month of December to coincide with the release of the new Home Sweet Home Alone movie, which guests can watch during their stay in the house. Guests will even receive a LEGO Home Alone set to remember their stay. As an added bonus for December 12th guests, the actor who played Buzz, Devin Ratray, will host. Whether or not there will be actual intruders during your stay depends on the local crime rate, which is, ironically, one of the lowest in America. Bookings open on December 12th for a mere $25 a night.
