Goose Island Announces a Line of Canned Cocktails

Famed Chicago brewery Goose Island Beer Co. announced the launch of a line of ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails. While the world of RTD cocktails is jam-packed with plenty of releases from national and local companies alike, Goose Island distinguishes itself with a selection exclusively comprised of bourbon-based cocktails. As the brewery is well known for its Bourbon County Stout annual releases, this fits in line personally. And, while we would’ve loved to see some experiments with barrel-aging we’re excited about the lineup on display. The initial line of craft cocktails includes a Blackberry Smash, an Old Fashioned Highball, and a Whiskey Sour. Sip straight from the can or pour in appropriate glassware over ice for an easy, delicious cocktail experience. The full lineup of cocktails will be available in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans clocking in at 9% ABV each. The canned craft cocktails will be distributed throughout Chicagoland starting in November of 2021.
