While we’ll be the first people to admit that we like our bourbon like we like our coffee–straight with no nonsense. But, Oak & Eden has convinced us, over the years, that there’s something there when it comes to crazy infusions and flavor additions. We’re never going to get behind Pumpkin Spiced Bourbon, but when Oak & Eden decided to utilized their patented “In-Bottle Finishing” process for the latest Bourbon & Vine release utilizing bourbon aged with their French Oak spire steeped in Marker Cellars’ Cabernet Sauvignon, we were more than a little intrigued. The end result is the fourth seasonal release from the award-winning bourbon brand that combines a remarkably smooth mashbill of corn, rye, and barley with the in-bottle finish from a 5″ French Oak spire soaked in the aforementioned Cab to create a robust, unique, and uncanny flavor profile unlike anything else on the market.
