Yeezy has his own distinct style, and we respect him for it. One of his more muted but still unique wrist-candy choices takes the form of a somewhat obscure Ikepod Hemopode. West loves it because he agrees that the Apple Watch case should’ve been round, so he adores the Ikepod Hemipode created by Apple’s Jony Ive and Ikepod designer Marc Newson that also uses an Apple Watch strap. This Hemipode is crafted from a solid chunk of 18-karat rose gold that’s honed in the brand’s UFO-like shape. There are four big subdials and three chronograph pushers. It all sits atop a more robust version of the Apple Watch rubber strap that mates with the Hemipode’s hidden lugs perfectly. While this isn’t West’s actual timepiece, he does consider it his favorite watch. It will up for auction on June 10th by Wright auctions and is expected to go for a fairly modest price given the origins of the watch.
