Standard Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey is ubiquitous, although it’s not top-shelf, by any means. Offerings such as Blanton’s, Booker’s, and Basil Hayden’s, however, are part of the more premium stable from the Jim Beam Brand. Yet their first true luxury bourbon whiskey called Lineage marks a real milestone. The deep amber elixir was batched by father and son team Fred And Freddie Noe and aged in charred white oak barrels since 2004. At 55% ABV, Lineage is potent but also imparts smoothness and balance. Each special bottle costs $250 and comes in a serial numbered wooden box. Lineage will go on sale early next year, just in time to make WFH great.
