John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne rose to prominence in the 70s as the “Prince of Darkness” responsible for the vocals of band Black Sabbath. While most of us are familiar with the band because of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, we’re equally familiar with the man because of his self-titled MTV show. Ozzy is back in better shape than ever, and he’s celebrating the 40th Anniversary of his solo debut album Blizzard of Ozz with an animated video for the breakthrough track “Crazy Train.” If we’re being completely honest, this video is nothing short of perfect in our opinion. It captures the emotion, feeling and grittiness of the song in simple line strokes and animations that perfectly depict all the emotion of a concert (if you can remember what those were like) while still presenting it like it’s a lo-fi, big-budget music video. It’s the perfect tribute to one of our all time favorite Ozzy songs.
