When it comes to wedding planning, the options are generally limited to “will there be a bar during dinner?”, “is the ceremony going to be held in a church,” and “how much white do we want the entire ceremony to have?” Ryan and Von–from Boom Studios and Ivy Creative, respectively–decided to do things completely differently by getting hitched at a venue that was completely devoid of white. They used their combined talents as designers, printers and overall creatives to create a reception venue that’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. They split a converted gallery outside of Melbourne, Australia right down the middle with an incredibly colorful side for the groom’s guests and an incredibly black side for all the bride’s guests. All of the decor, accouterments and decorations we’re designed, printed, crafted or sourced by the couple out of found objects, leftover materials and what was available to create a unique experience that makes this wedding one for the ages.
