Apple Macintosh iPhone

Apple Macintosh iPhone

The iPhone turned out to be the Cupertino brand’s cash cow, and the smartphone is now part of the modern technological vernacular more than just about any product in the world. But what if it was designed in the ’80s instead of 2007? Well, it would likely embody many of the same aesthetics as their putty-hued desktop computers (the brand’s famous Snow White design language) from that era with its mechanical keys and 3D multi-colored Apple logo. Designer Future Punk has created a commercial with iPhones from their iconic ’80s and ’90s design languages (including the colorful iMacs), of which the vintage Macintosh version is the highlight. The result is some seriously original nostalgia for products that never existed. Perhaps if Apple were to unveil a touchscreen version of this baby now, they could see a sales resurgence once more.
