Sometimes the accommodations can easily qualify as the destination, and in the case of the Cliff Concept Boutique Hotel, nothing could be truer. Dreamt up and rendered by Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio in Istanbul, the hotel is actually meant to be built into a cliff, as opposed to a standalone structure. The location would be located somewhere around Western Norway’s Preikestolen (“the Pulpit Rock) and would be comprised of five tiers, a rooftop-only entrance combined with untrammeled views of the Scandes mountain range and Lysefjorden Fjord, and the craziest part…a long infinity pool on the lowest level that extends far beyond the cliff face and floats above the local waters. All guestrooms would have pristine views, as well as one of the most unique hotel experiences on the planet. Build it and they will come.
