Airbnb Wants to Send You Around the World in 80 Days

From off-the-grid rentals or a night in a castle, to a stay in the Louvre or on the Great Wall, Airbnb has been pulling out all the stops recently when it comes to their available accommodations. It gets even better with the recent launch of Airbnb Adventures. Aimed at groups ranging from 2 to 10, Airbnb Adventures are expertly curated adventure itineraries led by locals with all the logistics, meals and lodging worked out so you literally just have to show up. They’re kicking things off with a 6 continent, 18 country adventure that would give even Jules Verne a sense of wanderlust. And before you ask, yes, the trip will 80 days. The 12 week journey starts and ends in London (just like Around the World in Eighty Days) with adventures in medieval Europe, the former Soviet Union, eastern Africa, the Middle East, northern and southern Asia, the South Pacific, the Americas and a Nordic island along the way. The trip will cost $5,000 per person, and there will only be six spots available.
